        Begging is a complex social problem that is prevalent mostly in the poor countries. So, what are the causes of this problem? And what should be done to solve it?

        To begin with, people in the past used to help each other by giving money, food, clothes or even time to relatives, neighbors and friends, but modernity and globalization make people neglecting the good personal values like collaboration; as a result , most needy people are obliged to beg in order to satisfy their daily needs. Secondly, lack of job opportunities is also another cause that leads to begging.

        As a solution to eradicate this complex trouble, the government and the private sector should think critically to put an end to this problem by offering enough job opportunities to this special category that can encourage them to give up this bad habit. Then, mass media also has a part of responsibility because television and newspaper should send a message to beggers convincing them that begging is not the appropriate solution.

        Clearly, I believe that stopping this hazardous problem means achieving a real sustainable development in most areas.
